Smile originally had an educational background in Business Administration prior to pursuing Applied Behavior Analysis. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Bukidnon State University in the Philippines. She completed her master’s degree in Business Administration at William Howard Taft University in 2014. Having seen the great need for behavioral services and desire in understanding behavior as a science, Smile pursued and completed her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at Ball State University in December 2018. She became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in February 2019. Prior to being certified, Smile has at least 8 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Her passion is in teaching functionally-equivalent replacement behaviors to adults with higher frequency and intensity of behaviors. Outside of work, Smile enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and four Chihuahuas.
