What to Expect

At Behavioral Health Allies (BHA), individuals and families can expect a comprehensive and personalized approach to care that focuses on the individual’s needs and goals. Our team of highly trained and credentialed professionals utilizes evidence-based practices, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapies, to provide the highest quality of care.

We work with individuals across the lifespan, from young children to senior adults, to provide a lifetime of support, intervention, education, and treatment. Our services are based in community settings, ensuring that individuals can remain integrated into their local communities while receiving the care they need.

Our team includes Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA), Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Special Education Teachers, Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Paraprofessionals, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), and more. Each member of our team is dedicated to making a positive and lasting impact on the individuals we serve.

We also work closely with insurance providers and other funding sources to ensure that our services are accessible to all who need them. Our commitment to personalized care and comprehensive solutions sets us apart as a trusted resource for individuals and families facing developmental disabilities and complex behavioral challenges.

Early Intervention Clinic: If you’re a parent seeking ABA services for your child (ages 18 months to 7 years old) who has been diagnosed with Autism, please send your inquiry to [email protected]. We will reach out to collect more information and set up an in-person assessment in our in-person clinic. Once insurance has been approved, we will begin the intake process with you.

Academy K-12 Educational Services: If you’re a school seeking an outside placement for a student, please send us the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) to [email protected]. If you’re a parent seeking placement in our school, you will need to connect with your school’s Special Education team to discuss reaching out to us. Once we receive the IEP from the school, our team will review it for fitness. If approved, we will invite parents and school representatives to a tour and begin the enrollment process.

Community living/Residential services: If you’re a guardian, targeted case manager, provider, and/or seeking residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities, please reach out to [email protected]. We will reach out and ask for the individual support plan (ISP) and any other relevant behavioral documentation. Missouri individuals over 18 will need a comprehensive waiver. For Missouri individuals under 18, children’s divisions will need to be involved. If you are uncertain or have any questions, please feel free to reach out with any questions. We are happy to walk through the possibilities with you.

Out-of-state placements: If you’re from outside Missouri and have an individual in need of educational and/or residential services, we may be able to help you. We serve all ages. Please reach out to [email protected]. For those who are still in school, we will collect their IEP and any other behavioral health documentation. Our team will review and set up a meeting to discuss this in more depth and do a virtual observation. In some cases, we will do an in-person observation. If deemed an appropriate fit, we will work through funding and transitioning together.

“Their perception is not one-size-fits-all, which reflects seeing each person with value, with unique needs.”
