My name is Melba Mathews. I have a Bachelors’ Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Sociology. I have worked with those with special needs and mental health issues for the past 20 years. I started off working with children as the Residential Placement Coordinator in Children’s Division for Jackson County. After 15 years I left the State of Missouri and worked with adults with sever mental health issues. I also have a extraordinary son who has Autism. It has been a blessing to watch him grown up to be the brilliant young man that he is now. I am published author and currently working on my 3 novel. In my spare time I enjoy reading and writing. One day, I hope to convince the world that chocolate should be a food group of its own!
