Partnering with BHA

Academy

We work with K-12 school districts seeking outside placements for students of all ages with behavioral health and developmental disabilities. We understand that each student is unique and may require different levels of support, so we work closely with the school district to identify the most appropriate placement for the student.

Our team of experienced clinicians and educators conducts comprehensive programming and works with the student’s school, family, and other providers to develop an individualized plan that meets the student’s needs and goals. We also provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure the student is making progress and adjusting well to their new placement.

Community Living

Our team collaborates closely with individuals of all ages who have severe behaviors due to their developmental disabilities. We work through their targeted case managers, behavioral health providers, state departments of mental health, and state children’s divisions to assess each individual’s unique needs. We develop a comprehensive plan for their community living placement with us.

We understand the importance of providing individualized support and services to help individuals with behavioral health needs thrive in a suitable community living environment. Our team conducts thorough observations with our clinicians, coordinates meetings with providers and families, and advocates for the individual to ensure they receive the appropriate level of ABA therapy and community living. Out-of-State Placement

For those individuals of all ages who have exhausted their in-state behavioral health and developmental disabilities resources, we have the ability to navigate the complex state and educational systems to move the individual into our services. We will provide them with the opportunity to move into our community living homes, receive ABA services, and attend our school with the goal of reducing their maladaptive behaviors and helping them return home.
